Beach Gear Guide

Every time I go to the beach I find myself fumbling and trying to find and remember all of the things. No one wants to go back to the house or the hotel for chapstick.  But I have a great list of new and some not so new awesome things to help.

Beach Vault

The Beach Vault is just freaken cool.

You get a towel with built in pillow and a hole that gives you 'secret' access to the vault.  It's a simple corkscrew that goes into the sand and you can fill with you valuables while you swim.  It's large enough to hold an iPad mini.  It comes with a built in handle and the towel rolls up and fits inside for easy transport.

A steal at around $50.

Coolest Cooler

Coolest Cooler is one you may have heard of already.  They ran one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns in history, raising over $13,000,000.

This cooler has two adjustable compartments, blender, cutting board, knife, plates and silverware, bluetooth speaker, phone charger, LED lights, tie down straps and sand ready wheels.  A bit pricey at $500 though.

Beach Wine Glasses

Beach Wine Glasses are a thing.  They make sense if you don't plan to put them on a table.  They are a simple cross between a ground stake and a wine glass, which makes them perfect for standing in the sand.  You can get them in colorful plastic or more traditional glass style.

Great gift at around $10.

Corkcicle Canteen

Corkcicle is known for making metal bottles that can keep hot or cold liquids at temp for an entire day, or most of the day.  They now have the Canteen which can hold an entire bottle of wine and keep it cold for at least 25 hours.  They come in a huge variety of colors and textures.

At only $35 it's worth grabbing.

LayBag

Basically a cross between a beanbag and a blow up sofa.  These guys are made from super strong nylon and can be used just about anywhere.  The absolute best part is they don't require endless inflation or a pump.  When you want to blow these up you just open it and pull it through the air, 10 seconds flat.

LayBag is pretty reasonable at only $40.

Flip & Tumble

Flip & Tumble quickly became my go to grocery bag.  Then it became the bag I take everywhere just incase.  They roll up into themselves and pop out quickly and effortlessly.  The same company now makes backpacks, totes, wine holders and even organizers for your suitcase.

At only $12-35 they are super reasonable and you will get your money's worth.

Otenik Sunshade

I have searched for a great shade for the beach forever.  Now for me it needs to be portable, easy to set up and take down, functional and adjustable.  Otenik does all of this and comes in three sizes.

It costs about $100 but well worth it if you don't have to buy another one for years.

Why not make your next beach trip less stressful and organized?  Just get everything and a bottle of wine and you'll be all set for a full day.
